My own younger brother's quote of the summer was, "Why would I work just for money?" To an aghast, "What?' from the rest of the family.

He did manage to avoid his first job being at a grocery store or fast-food restaurant, and landed a landscaping job making $19/hour . . . we were all shocked but it seems to have been his plan all along. It's amazing how things can fall into place at all once and how fast people can change.
