I think what you do with your university degree is important too . . . and it depends on what you get your degree in. Would hate to have hiring managers in certain industries not place a lot of weight on having a certain educational background or qualification. Also, the university experience builds a lot of soft skills too - there are workplaces now that seem to place just as much value on emotional intelligence as they do on actual intelligence. But I guess if the future is online and everyone will be working from home, then we won't need soft skills anymore.
