Generating ideas is what I excel at as a creator. I have more ideas than I know what to do with. Pages and pages of ideas listed one after the other live on my desk: most bad, but some good. Many I’ll never use. It’s a problem I know I’ll be very unpopular for complaining about. I’ll brag that I can write numerous headlines and outlines for each of these 52 ideas and prompts anyways. I can picture their finished products in my head. The point being, I’ll never, ever use all of them, and again, some of them are useful jumping-off points. So why not share them.

I debated organizing them into categories, but I think there’s something extraordinary about finding inspiration in a prompt you wouldn’t look at usually. If there’s any time to post something new, it’s probably the new year.

Some of these ideas will work across different platforms. I came up with certain ones thinking about Medium specifically, but I think a lot could also work for Instagram, YouTube, or Twitter.
