5 Unexpected Places You Can Visit from Your Couch to Find Inspiration
Where to go when you’re feeling stuck creatively
I don’t get sick, I don’t get sick, I don’t get sick… was my mantra, starting on Sunday morning when I woke up with a sore throat. Followed by, I am not sick, I am not sick, I am not sick, which I said to myself all day at work on Monday, as I started to shiver and sweat.
I am endlessly grateful for sick days, but what does all this have to do with inspiration?
Spend two days lying in bed, resting, and you may find ideas come to you more naturally.
Between Monday night and Wednesday afternoon, I reached for my ideas notebook frequently.
Inspiration comes in many forms. And I mainly explore the inspiration to do “things,” including creative pursuits like art or writing, but also getting out of the house and enjoying experiences.
Here’s what I was doing, while resting, that activated my creative thinking.
1. Read Life Writing
